After investing a significant amount of time and effort into a rigorous application process, I received a standard template rejection letter. Despite completing a detailed application, submitting a personalized cover letter, recording and submitting a video, participating in a phone interview, writing an essay paper, and attending a lengthy zoom interview, the outcome was a template rejection. It would have been appreciated to receive personalized feedback after such a thorough and time-consuming process. I had to take time off work, gave up my lunch hour, and it was a month long process! I'm honestly thinking I dodged a bullet with this one. Who wants to work for a company that believes others need to jump through a huge amount of hoops, but doesn't have enough mutual respect to at least provide them feedback.
