Very straightforward. Standard questions of experiences, projects, and working with teams in general. HR was very helpful with the process always keeping you up to date from initial contact to starting out at the job.

Recall an experience of tracking down a difficult bug and how did you overcome the issue?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at IPG Photonics (Kingston, ON)
Interview
There were two rounds. The first was over the phone with two people (not HR) and I can’t remember the exact questions. The second interview was in-person. It started with a tour and then we moved to the conference room for more technical questions. They asked me about different damping systems and coding questions. Towards the end, they were also curious about my personality and inquired about my hobbies and passions.
