I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IndeVets in Nov 2025
Interview
The hiring manager never showed up to the interview. When I reached out to the recruiter she told me the hiring manager said I was late and no longer wanted to interview me. I was on time and waited for nine minutes before logging off, then rejoined a couple of minutes later to check and see if the hiring manager had joined. If he had changed his mind about wanting to interview me for other reasons, that’s fine, but to ghost me and then lie about it says a lot about him and the company.

Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IndeVets in Apr 2024
Interview
The process included 4 phone/video screens and 1 take-home assignment (under 2 hours) before receiving an offer. Throughout, everybody was kind, welcoming, and conversational. It was obvious from interviews alone that the advertised culture matched the real culture and that IndeVets is somewhere I'd want to work.
The take-home assignment was short enough and applicable, while also being strictly a test of skillset; not something that the company could take and use if they elected not to make an offer.
Overall, the process lasted only a couple weeks from start to finish. Nothing unreasonably long, with no delays to speak of. Other companies could stand to learn quite a bit from how IndeVets conducts their talent acquisition.
