I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Ingevity (North Charleston, SC) in Aug 2017
Interview
Applied in May online. The overall process took more than 4 months. After initial screening interview, a technical interview was arranged with the manager. After stalling for nearly two months, I was finally invited for onsite interview. Onsite was all day interview with presentation and one on one with other group members.
The HR person is not very informed about the overall position. There seemed to be lack of planning and SEVERE LACK OF COMMUNICATION for the overall interview process. Got a rejection email with no explanation. Some people were not too pleased that I wore suit to the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard HR question such why are you qualified for the job, why do you want the job, etc
Very simple and straightforward. Interviewers were very open to questions about the work-life experience, and at no point did I feel like I wasn't sure what I was going into.

Question 1
What core value of the company do you align with the most?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Ingevity
Interview
Very long and redundant- seemed unnecessary to do 6 on-site interviews back to back. They lacked communication after the interview process and never reimbursed me expenses for having to go to Charleston.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ingevity (Ruston, LA)
Interview
Applied through campus career fair. Asked plenty of behavioral questions, but lacked answers to questions I had for them. All together very nice experience, but simply not a position I could find myself in.
