Started with a call with internal HR recruiter. Once the mention of salary expectations arose the call went south and quickly ended with "I'll connect with the hiring manager and get back to you by end of week." I followed up with both the recruiter (and HM) saying I was flexible with salary since the job seemed like a good fit and would give me experience in my industry of choice. I followed up several times with no response. Finally, a month later, I received an auto-generated rejection email from the Workday system. Their loss, not mine.
