Ivy Publications interview questions

I interviewed directly with Senior Editor. We went through my resume, discussed the position, and had a Q&A session. The process lasted about one hour in total. Although the interview was not difficult, it helped that I came in prepared because I was nervous. The best way to prepare is by learning each of the publications put out by the company and figuring out which are the most applicable to your interests and writing style.

I was asked to submit a letter, resume and writing samples. After an initial phone interview, I was emailed some specific tasks, writing, proofreading and editing as a second stage interview. I met with the publishers for a long conversation and a few days later received a written offer.
