I arrived 20 minutes prior to my scheduled interview, however they were 20 minutes late and only when I stood up to leave, did they take me me back for my interview. The interview went well, and they scheduled me for a ride along. The ride along went very well, I have over 8 years of plumbing experience and I serviced the plumbing calls correctly and without error. I also got along very well with everyone, even though they thought I "looked scary" due to my tattoos and even though I wore tattoo sleeves to cover up as much of my tattoos that I possibly could. So at the end of the day, the hiring manager informed me that he would call me with his decision of whether they wanted to move forward with hiring me or not. Except he never did. I waited a bit and then decided to call myself to get the answer, but was told they were gone for the day, so I called during business hours for the next 3 days and was told the same thing every time, that someone would call me back that same day. However no one ever called. Unfortunately I believe that I am being discriminated against for the way I look with my tattoos. But I am a good, honest, and nice guy with a wife and a almost 3 year old daughter and I know what I am doing in the plumbing field and I am a hard worker .
