I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide in February 2016.

    Interview

I was going to school in Florida at the time, so I had to send a cover letter and resume via email and wait a couple of weeks before I heard back. I found out that I was chosen for an interview, and I had a Skype face-to-face where I talked to the head of the department. The interview was very relaxed and gave me a great company vibe. A few weeks later I found out via email that I had been accepted to the internship and I would learn more over the following weeks.

    Interview

For this opportunity I had a phone interview with a creative recruiter and it was very conversational. I was offered the job on the spot and they do a great job of selecting talent through portfolio reviews. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone interested in advertising. Working at a WPP company helped me grasp an understanding of how agency life is.
