JEA interview questions

I have worked for many Fortune 500 companies and interviewed with multiple companies across multiple industries. This was a very unorthodox interview. You need to provide your ID for access, then an HR person comes to escort you to the meeting room. I had brought a notebook and pen for note taking. Three people entered the room and sat across the table from me. No introductions. I was told I could not use my notebook for security reasons. They provided a pad and pencil and told me anything written would have to stay with them. No small talk or conversation. The lead person said they were going to ask 10 questions. It turned out to be 10 questions with a,b,c,d after each question, so about 30 BROAD questions in all that had to be answered in an hour. They were compiled from AI and were formed to cause missteps and confusion. Halfway through the first question the lead person stood up and left the room. The other two looked at each other and laughed. I took this as a signal to his team that he was not considering me for the role. Upon his return he apologized for leaving the room and continued. I asked for water and was told they don't have any. They escorted me to the kitchen where tap water and other employee's cups were offered. I skipped it and was told by the lead person, that was a good idea. After the interview the lead person escorted me out the building and while in the elevator, I again tried to make conversation, but he would not engage. I handed in my temporary badge and left the building. HR went silent until my third terse inquiry and was told I was not selected. My feeling after that experience was, I dodged a bullet. If you're not comfortable with the people you will work with then it's not worth your time.
