I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JEVS
Applied online and received a call within a week for an interview with the hiring manager and site admin. The last interview was with Human Resources. After a week or so, got an extended offer.
- How do you handle working on a team of 7 or more?

Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA) in Aug 2019
Short pretty nice people there, had a blast conversating with jevs employees and they are amazing staffs. The orientation process was fun we had a short class about mental health. This was a great idea especially since we are working with mentally ill clients.
- What to do in a certain situation if clients act out?

Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
I applied online. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2019
Recruiter via phone was fine, but onboarding and training was very disorganized. Did not have all the access I needed to service clients once I started. Overall the process was very easy in terms of questions from all three interviewers
- Why are you interested in JEVS?

Anonymous Employee
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at JEVS
Process was well streamlined. Had a phone interview set up two weeks from when the application was submitted, and then came in for an in-person interview a few weeks after that. From application to offer was a little over a month.

Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA) in Sep 2018
Came for a job fair, got interviewed by a couple people, completed a computer test and got an offer on the spot, sent back to completed drug test, FBI finger printing, completed some paper work online and started a few weeks after being hired
- If I was familiar with what service coordination was all about

Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA) in Apr 2018
I applied online through LinkedIn and was called and asked to come in to interview at the main office with the person currently in the role, my would-be supervisor and an HR representative. There was a long delay between sending in my resume/cover letter and initial contact (3 months), and then another delay (several weeks) between the first and second interview. Although I was informed I would be receiving a second interview within days. At the second interview, I met with the team I would be supervising at the location where I would work. I was given an offer the next week.
- Why are you interested in a manager position?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at JEVS
I was called for an interview but initially declined due to not wanting to pay the astronomical parking fees. I was offered a voucher so that they would pay the parking. I agreed and the interview went so well I was asked for 2nd interview. Then a 3rd and final interview at different places. I ended up going to 3 different locations for the interviews. I was feeling great about the chances of being the selected candidate for the position. Waited for 3 days and I called them as a follow up (no immediate response). It took 5 days and I simply received an e-mail stating another candidate was selected. This process is way too long to then receive a "thanks but no thanks". I felt as if they have no consideration for people's time. This is not a good practice for candidate that are employed. I would recommend to have the best candidate go through the process not all selected candidates. For an organization that deals with human services they have no respect or consideration for people's time. I continously see job postings and I will never consider them for my future employment needs.
- How do you handle irate person?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Philadelphia, PA
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA)
Very long process. I had several interviews over a 3 week period at different locations. After having several interviews, instead of being called to tell me someone else was chosen, I recieved an email. Would have thought that after every step made, this would at least warrant a call.

I applied online. I interviewed at JEVS
Good interview. Microsoft Office test almost convinced me not to apply since it didn't seem geared towards professionals, but it seemed to be a company-wide policy not indicative of individual departments. Staff were friendly and conversation flowed easily. Second follow up interview with additional members of the team. Staff responded very promptly throughout the process.
- Why I was applying to this job

Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JEVS (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2015
Interviewed with HR and after they gave the all clear I interviewed with the Team Lead of my department. We had a one on one interview that started with some generic questions but eventually became more about fitting into the culture at JEVs.
- Why do you want to work in human services?
- What do you hope to achieve here in the next 5 years?
