      Remote Chat Agent Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jerry

      Interview

The time wait wasn't bad. After completing their 2 assessment I got an interview 1 week after applying. As for the Interview, they have this "Intern" do it, (with another person who is not participating but only watching). An intern who has no idea as to how interviews are to be conducted. As a warning, I am telling you they "Interview" you with the goal of getting you overwhelmed by a bunch of useless questions that in no way determine whether you can perform the job, to try to make you trip up, by restating what you just said but misrepresenting your words to see if you "catch" and correct them, or saying "So in your resume I see that..." and say something inaccurate, and to put an immense confusion and pressure on you. The Interviewer just kept bombarding with questions about what I just said, she would be fixated on a single word out of every sentence I said asking to define it for her, like if she was an elementary school kid. Most of the 30 minutes of the Interview was her being obnoxious over definitions than an actual interview. Which I think she made it in purporse to make time, because the time frame for the Interview was 30 minutes, and she probablt couldn't come up with any other questions, and also had no information prepared to present like it was supposed to be. By email they invited me to schedule a video call, stating it was to "tell you more about the opportunity". Which didn't happen, Interviewer went over no information herself, just asked once at the start if I had any question. This might just be part of their lame strategy, to skip to tell you that will be having an Interview, to try to catch you off guard. I don't know if this is the method that Jerry implements for Interviews, or if it was just her, because she was inexperienced. She even was being evaluated by the other person while she was doing the Interview, so I might just have been unlucky to get someone who was still learning. Which is not fair, neither for candidates nor for the company, as they are losing good potential employees because the person they put it doesn't know how to do that job. Although honestly if all their Interviews go like this, I can't see how they hire anybody for this role. But either way, Jerry should reconsider, and remind themselves of what the point of an Interview is. And I am sorry if all of this might sound too harsh from my part, I am not trying to be critical, just honest about my experience and what I thought about it. For the other candidates, I tell you there are better opportunities, and in which you won't feel like you just lost 30 minutes of your precious time in a interview that was a joke from the start, and that's without including the time you put in before to apply and do the assessment.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Go over your resume. Why do you want to work for this position? What do you mean by 'assertive'? What you mean by the word efficiency?. Why did you work for that company (the companies I used to work for). Why did you chose your previous positions? What did you like about them?. How would your supervisor rate you and say about you? What would your supervisor say of your coworkers? With how many people you worked?. How do you define being ethical at workplace? Why is there a gap on your resume? What were you doing during that time? Why did you choose to find a new position and leave the company? How did your last company team dynamics worked? What do you know about Jerry?.

      Interview

Very easy process! Got an email with an web based questionnaire and then the next day invited to do a video meet and greet to learn about the role/company and first interview. At the end I was asked to schedule a shadow with a lead followed by an interview with a manager. I heard back a couple days later with a job offer! Everyone was so nice during the interview process and onboarding the job.

      Interview

I applied early January 2022. The company expressed great interest in me, and said they would send an assessment. They said due to technical issues there was an issue sending the assessment link. After almost a month, I finally received my assessment after reminding them. The assessment is an easy typing test, and personality test. Not to long after I received a rejection letter from Jerry telling me they decided not to move forward in the interview process. This company strung me along for over a month, and did not respond to any of my e-mails until recently. I do not recommend applying to this company. My background is overqualified for this role, but the job fit my current employment needs. I really had high hopes for this company, but can't recommend them because they are completely unprofessional.

Never got to interview after waiting a month for an assessment.
