The KCSA hiring process was an average interview experience that included a phone screening, in-person interview, and follow-up interview. At the final interview there was also a writing test. Follow-up was quick and clear.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked relatively straightforward questions like: How do you get your news? Why are you interested in this field? What types of publications do you read and why?
I applied after seeing a post on LinkedIn. I heard from someone in HR and my initial video call with HR was scheduled. I prepared and joined the interview. After waiting a few mins, I received an email from HR asking if we could reschedule. I understand things come up, but it was frustrating. The interview was rescheduled and then changed again. At least the second time I was given a few hours notice. We then did the interview. I thought it went well. I sent a thank you email after and didn’t hear back. I followed up about a week later and never received any kind of response. I didn’t even get a form rejection email.
