Initial 40 minute teams call. Polite and a very good process overall. Was followed up by a visit down to the factory for a tour. This was more informal and a chat about my experience what I was excited for
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at KP Snacks (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
Called by internal recruiter following my application, which was pleasant enough. Was invited for a virtual interview with hiring manager and her boss. From the onset, it felt cold and off. Hiring manager hardly spoke - instead her boss was doing all the talking. Didn’t seem to like me asking questions throughout the process. Was asked why I applied, when I answered based off the JD, she told me as this was a new role that’s something the post holder might get involved with. Was later asked what challenges I may face in the role - how is one meant to answer that when the JD wasn’t even accurate. Was also asked to complete a case study and present. I asked for feedback immediately stating that I like to keep things interactive. Was told I covered everything off. Then when the rejection came through was told that I missed the ‘so what’! Overall, whole thing was off and interview style was clinical.
Initial stage was a 30-45 minute teams call. Process was quick and professional. Interviewers were friendly and asked standard questions. Provided feedback automatically with rejection and decision made very quickly.
