I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton in Feb 2025
Interview
Got my interview through an on campus opportunity, there were two interviewers on a zoom call. The questions were pretty standard and sometimes they didn't know what to ask so they looked at my resume and picked a random thing to talk about. It's better to be proactive and guide the conversation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2025
Interview
It was a short, virtual interview with around 5 to 7 questions with thirty seconds to prepare and minute and a half to record each response. It was very easy to use and the questions were not difficult.
There is a short first-round interview either through OCI or recorded online. Then, everyone gets flown in for Callback Weekend, which includes a lot of networking, teambuilding, and a relatively small amount of interviewing. The weekend itself is low-pressure and even enjoyable (as far as job interviews go). It quickly became clear that it's mostly about identifying 2L summers, not 1L summer recruiting, which wasn't really made clear going in.
