I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz in Sep 2017
Interview
Very quickly scheduled phone screen - it went very well. Next, what was supposed to be two 30-minute Skype interviews actually turned out to be two 30-minute phone interviews as Skype for Business was down that day. They both went well, the second individual was actually in the trainee program herself and she said she hoped to see me on site and that I'd hear back in a week. Two weeks later I got an email informing me that I was not moving forward in the process.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2018
Interview
I had a video interview with Kraft Heinz after taking an assessment test and it was not a live interview. I had to answer 5 to 6 behavioural questions where they give you 30 seconds to think and 2 minutes to answer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied online. The application was incredibly simple. I received an email a few days later telling me to take a personality test and a matrices test. A day or two after that, I received an email saying I had moved onto the phone screening and I had to complete it that day or the next day. The recruiter called me and was very brisk. She was no nonsense and told me I had 15 minutes to answer all of her questions, so I went through them quickly. At the end of the screening, she said I would move onto the Skype interviews and I scheduled them for the very next day.
I was interviewed by a woman who had recently finished this program and then by an HR rep. Both interviews went incredibly well. They were much nicer than the recruiter and we had an easy conversation. I can say that one of the interviews was a little more brisk, but overall, I felt good about the entire thing. Unfortunately, almost a week later, I received an email saying I didn’t make it to the in person interview. I would not have been able to make it anyways, due to travel plans I had previously booked, but I was astounded that they waited until a week before the in person interview to tell me whether or not I needed to find a way to Chicago and a place to stay while there.
Overall, the process was very quick and it seemed like they had a specific type of person they were looking for (Ivy league and confident to the point of aggressive). I gathered this from questions i asked the interviewers and from the fact one person I spoke to said it was unusual for someone from a liberal arts background to be accepted into the program.
I applied online and was sent a link to 2 online assessments, 1 personality and 1 logic. I then had a 15 minute phone screening call with an HR recruiter.
