I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Laithwaites Wine (Reading, England) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interview Process was basic standard interview and a telephone sales test at the end they where friendly and made me feel welcome shame about the job they didn't go in to too much detail about the job spec
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just your history and what you can bring to the company it was very generic tbh they would employee anyone
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Laithwaites Wine (Theale, South East England, England) in Jul 2016
Interview
Prior to the interview they ask you to prepare a 5 minute presentation for ‘What makes me a great sales person and why should Laithwaite’s hire me’. The first part of the interview is face to face with one of the team managers and the second part is listening in with one of the wine advisors for about 30 mins.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The five minute presentation is probably the most daunting part of the interview. The rest of the questions are fairly standard. Tell us about a time you have dealt with a difficult situation and how did you deal with it? etc. etc.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Laithwaites Wine (Theale, South East England, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
Very good, but totally mis-sold the role as it's not account management. We are encouraged to sell volumes of wine over, discouraged to spend a long time talking. If someone wants a case then get them to have two!!
