I applied in mid January and was contacted around end of February to schedule an inteview, and then scheduled for a date for about 3 weeks later. It was a virtual pannel interview with 4 staff members, including the person who had reached out and scheduled me for the interview. Of all four, this person was the only one who came across as invested in the inverview and in my answers, showed me some empathy. The others' tone of questioning felt more robotic and their vibe seem rough. I sent the standard thank you email, and also a follow up about a week after. I never heard back, which comes across as lack of consideration for the candidates' time and effort. It only takes 60 seconds to write a 'thank you, but no thank you' OR a 'we're still in the hiring process, will keep you updated' type of email. And that can go a long way for a job seeker.
