I applied to this firm a few years ago and still have not forgotten how the owner tried to humiliate me during the interview. It was him and his wife and it was clear that he tried to embarrass me and show his wife that they should not have even been interviewing me. I was right out of law school so obviously I did not have a wealth of experience in the area. I was treated so poorly and I still to this day think about it and feel disgusted. I left that day and thanked god that I was not hired because I would never want to work for someone who would treat people that way.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to describe/explain detailed information that they KNEW I would not know as they had my resume which indicated I was right out of law school with no hands on experience in the field. Why even have me come in then?
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Lieb at Law (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
Submitted resume and was contacted by Lauren for an interview. After responding promptly she did not respond with an interview time for over 36 hours until the evening before the interview. Arrived at the location early and was met with a nice woman who informed Lauren of my arrival. Lauren was very rude and after the one vague interview question she ended the interview stating that the firm was looking for someone with more experience and that I was too "green." This was confusing especially because their online posting claimed that they would train the right candidate. I was treated as if I had knocked on their door looking for a job as opposed to being called for an interview. Don't waste your time.
