Firstly there was a in person interview with two members of staff where both personal and technical questions were discussed. This was followed by an experimental test in the lab where I was asked to perform an experimental test aligning lasers on an optics table.

It was a good interview, discussed my experiences and aspirations. I was approached by a search company so I had to go through 3 rounds of interview. The last interview was taken by the company which had some technical and problem solving questions.

The final interview was about some personal questions plus the technical questions. They asked the basic questions first, such as the working of a laser and the follow-up questions. Other things like the desirable working environment and attitude were checked.
