MMA Design interview questions

Did a phone screen which went well. Did a longer phone interview with a manufacturing lead. Got good vibes and heard there were lots of contracts, lots of work, good potential. Came in for an on-site panel interview. Had a great time meeting everyone and liked the workspace, the hardware, the staff. Everything seemed great. After getting an offer and agreeing on salary, almost three+ weeks into the whole process, I tentatively accepted and asked for a three week delayed start from their given date. I was told that this somehow wasn't feasible and the only start date possible was the day written into the offer. So I had to decline. I would very much have liked to work there. I was extremely surprised the company wasn't willing to meet me halfway on something small like this. Strange!
