A long process taking significant time between interviews. Limited communication in between meetings - maybe it was covid but don’t know if that’s the reason? Mainly zoom, people were friendly enough

After being contacted directly by Hr via LinkedIn, he interview process lasted several months during which time two hour long interviews were conducted, a demonstration presentation was prepared (taking around 15 hours to conduct an analysis and prepare) and then the hiring manager changed so I had to present and interview all over again. There was the no follow up communication so I had to chase a month later only to be told I was still the favourite candidate but due to a restructure it was not clear what department I'd sir under. The process was the put on hold for 9 months. Frustrating.
