Applied online. A company recruiter contacted me by phone and did a phone screen then asked me to come in to interview for the position the following day.
Typical interview: background, experience, about the company, etc. There was no mention of follow up instructions.
Immediately after the interview, I followed up with a thank you email to the interviewer and contacted the recruiter by text as instructed.
After another follow up text, email, and LinkedIn message I still have not heard anything back from this company regarding my interview process.
I believe the whole process was unprofessional.
No candidate should feel they were treated unprofessionally. We discussed your comments with our recruiter. Your observation was taken to heart. He owned his failure to follow up with you and offered you and Maestro his sincere apology. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
