I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Main Event (Chesterfield, MO) in May 2023
At first, figuring out where I was supposed to go was hard. The environment was very loud and chaotic, but the staff all wear bright blue T-shirts so I tracked one of them down and asked where I should go. They sat me down at a table in the restaurant and a manager came over and spoke to me. She asked why I wanted to work there, my availability, and if I had reliable transportation. They thought I was a different person and were caught off guard, despite that I came in at the agreed-upon time. It gave me the impression that I wasn't valued as a candidate. The interview took about half an hour and was pretty standard as far as interviews go.
- Do you have reliable transportation? What is one goal you have for the future? What is an example of a time when you had to work with a team? How do you deal with people that think differently than you? Why do you want to work for the company?

Great team contribution to the process and level of involvement. The time with the managers was an impactful way to get a snapshot of operations. Happened at a time of good volume, so I had a Birdseye view of what a typical evening looked like.
- Operation based and people development focused

The interview process for the server position was done in a group setting. It was not as formal and was very fun to be involved in. The process was mostly transparent and they were very quick in letting the candidates know of their acceptance.
