Marie Claire Magazine interview questions

Interview itself was nice and professional. However, after the interview, I was told I was hired and was to start several months later in may (this was February). I kept in contact as asked, however, when the start date approached, I was ghosted completely, no response or formal let-down. Incredibly unprofessional and surprising.
