Interview
The interview process started with a phone screen about my previous experiences. Then moved to a technical challenge where I had to design a hash map from scratch and could use only arrays. They provided the hash function for you.
Then we spoke about JavaScript and C arrays.
Spoke to a recruiter as well as a software engineer. Got a good sense of the company, their products and the role they were looking to fill. By the end of the conversations, I think they may have felt that I may have been an awkward fit from a tech standpoint. Nevertheless, I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved and with the fact that they managed to really understand my background and the potential fit there.
All in all, had a very positive impression of their company, their people & the product.
