Mars Veterinary Health interview questions

Interviewed for the role via Headhunter. First interview is video interview with Talent Acquisition Manager, very straight forward questions related to credentials of past jobs and expectations of the role.

Interview process was initially smooth, and even asked me for expected salary. HR further added not to worry, I won't be shortchanged due to my registration status and experience. Turns out the offer was way below the advertised amount, like 3K difference. Tons of ridiculous excuses ensued to justify it.
