I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MediaLab in Dec 2024
Interview
There were about 3 stages - screening, overall tech interview with lead, tech interview with potential coworkers with coderpad python and SQL exercises, and also some arch design questions.
The interview process was very smooth, the recruiter was in touch all of the time.
The tech questions were spot-on for the role, nothing too crazy. The coding exercise could be discussed with the interviewer, discussing potential enhancements and what not.
Overall, the process was very good! I enjoyed the interviews!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MediaLab (Santa Monica, CA)
Interview
Started with an initial phone interview call where you describe your experience and your salary expectations, this is followed up with a video call with technical questions about Swift such as Protocols, ARC, Retain Cycles, and UIKit related questions arround ViewController lifecycle, persistance with UserDefaults, CoreData, pros and cons etc. After those two, I got a home assigment were you need to fetch a weather API, some remote Images and Device location. Later, 2 more interviews Leetcode style with "easy" difficulty and that's all.
