I applied for the Fullstack Engineer Intern role via my school's career system. The interview process was extremely poor.
The interviewer was late by 30 minutes, which was quite surprising for a company of this size. The conversation throughout the interview was awkward also. The main interviewer spoke unfluently and seemed indifferent.
The questions were not technically oriented. I was asked to share my previous projects, show my GitHub repository, and even ownself rate my Python skills on a scale of 1 to 10.
Whenever I answered their questions thoroughly, both interviewers would stay silent, providing no feedback or instructions. When they did speak again, their questions often had no relevance to the previous discussion.
Adding to the disappointment, I later discovered that the "Full Stack Engineer Intern" role was misleading. It turned out they were only looking for someone to focus solely on frontend development, which did not align with the original job description.
The funniest part was when the interviewer told me I was one of his top two candidates and assured me that I’d hear back within two weeks. However, I never received any follow-up or updates. This was really unprofessional.
Overall, this was one of the worst interview experiences I’ve had.
