I applied online. I interviewed at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories
Interview
Pretty straightforward process. Only asked a few questions through a phone interview. I followed up with a second interview a couple of days later and found out I got the job the next day. The hiring team was pretty friendly and conversation was great.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (Hamilton, NJ) in Jun 2020
Interview
They asked about my college experience. It was an overall easy interview and they were looking for people so I was offered the position right away. They were nice, but made the interview rushed.

Super easy interview! Pete Winchester conducted mine, but Kelly does them now. Learn the basics of PCR and you'll be set, as soon as I asked "starting with DNA or starting with RNA" after Pete asked me about PCR he made a note and I was in. Just regurgitate wikipedia if you don't know about it. Almost everything that goes on in this lab is a version of PCR. They do real time, conventional (for downstream sequencing,) reverse transcriptase, etc. Every specialized position in the lab is usually given internally to current lab techs so don't be discouraged that there's nothing else to learn, there's a lot of stuff you can do once you prove you aren't an idiot. (No drug test for MDL which owns but also means there's a lot of people working there solely because they'll never be drug tested)
