Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and had a call. Learned a little about the company and the role that they were hiring for. Very high level overview overall, but definitely an interesting conversation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Milestone in Apr 2023
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter and we had a thirty minute phone call. a week and a half later the recruiter reached out and set up second interview. After two weeks of silence the recruiter reached out to set up the third interview. It’s been 3 weeks and the recruiter hasn’t responded to messages.

Tell me a time you had to deal with a difficult customer and how you diffused it.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Milestone (Santa Clara, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
I first met with a manager who was very friendly, but she didn't turn her camera on during the call, which I found a little uncomfortable. She was very nice and seemed enthusiastic about the role.
I was quickly moved to a second interview with a second person. When I clicked into the Zoom, he was on another interview with someone else and asked me to come back. What technology company doesn't know how to enable a waiting room on Zoom?? It was very awkward. I then spoke with the second interviewer for about 30 minutes. His overall tone was a bit disparaging and I immediately felt that this job was not for me. I've never wanted to get off an interview call like that before. It was very strange. I asked him about the company and he just kept saying it's "transformative" which didn’t tell me anything.
It seems like Milestone isn't sure what it's trying to be, but they think very highly of themselves as Silicon Valley tech wizards.
