I had a great initial and second interview process, however the third interview was dismal. The interviewee was judgemental, late (without apology), and didn't appear to be listening then threw a very random question at me as the call was cutting off.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Minor Figures (Portland, OR) in Apr 2025
Interview
Great interview process. The representative was warm and communicative. The overall time met felt like a conversation, yet so professional and thorough. I did not end up getting hired, but I left the interview feeling good.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The role was sales oriented. The interviewer asked me about my experience in sales and how I would plan my first month creating relationships with new clients, and establishing a connection with existing clients.
Minor Figures reached out to me about a role that closely matched my experience. After a couple of positive interviews, communication stopped entirely. This was especially disappointing given their emphasis on having a transparent, communicative process. Unfortunately, that promise didn’t match the reality. Even after I followed up, neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager responded. Overall, it was a poor experience that left me questioning the credibility of what they say.
