Spoke over the phone with another PA then met in person for a day of interviewing/shadowing with both advanced practice providers and physicians. Did not hear back from them after this point.

I interviewed at Mission Health
The process was quick and simple. Although I was asked to complete some task days after my portal said not selected. I felt as if this was not ok and didn’t feel as if my time was valued.
- What could I bring to the team.

I interviewed at Mission Health
it was through zoom, everything went smooth and they were super nice about everything. they were patient if i took a little to think about a question, they made me feel comfortable
- What made you want to apply here? Asked me scenarios 3 strengths 3 weaknesses

Usual interview questions about strengths and weaknesses. Not a hard interview by any means. All interviews are virtual right now, which is a plus. Know one thing they can remember you by. that was a question.
- What is your nursing superpower?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Asheville, NC
I applied online. I interviewed at Mission Health (Asheville, NC) in Nov 2020
I interviewed with a panel of 3 nurse managers from different units and they determined which unit opening would be a good fit. Very friendly and reasonable/expected questions. Left time for me to ask questions at the end.
- With the high burn out rate for nurses, especially new nurses, how will you stay resilient in such a trying field? What is your "super (nurse) power"?

Anonymous Employee
I applied online. I interviewed at Mission Health in Sep 2020
Actually one of the best interviews, being a new grad I was nervous and starting to get discouraged but management made me feel comfortable. The interview was over the phone due to Covid-19 but we still managed to have fun with it while getting to know one another.
- Why did I bring to the table?

Anonymous Employee
I applied online. I interviewed at Mission Health
Interview was done over the phone. Very easy interview with questions about why I was looking into medicine as well about personal. The entire process was less than 30 minutes. No medical exam that needed to be done unlike other scribe positions I had to apply to. Overall very easy interview process.
- Why did I want to be a scribe?

Anonymous Employee
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mission Health in Apr 2020
Phone interview, first with the HCA recruiter then with the floor manager. Recruiter was helpful in narrowing down my interests and comparability with certain floors and easily scheduled me in to their calendars for the ensuing phone interview. It was a quick process because I think Mission really is incentivized to hire FT staff right now.
- What are your “nursing superpowers”?
- What would other people misinterpret about you if they didn’t know you well?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at Mission Health
Hard ridiculous questions, intimidating on purpose. Took forever to call me back in the first place and then won’t follow up for months. They are so slow at hiring it’s ridiculous
- What was the worst thing you’ve ever done at your job?
