They gave a case study to solve. This was the first round. After 20 days I was told to come to their office for an interview. I traveled 30 Kms from my house, expecting that there will 2 or more rounds of interview on that day. I went to their office. I was interview by their co founder and CTO - Ayush Varshney. First I was asked what is 87*17, 97*13, 107*13. This is fine. He asked me to test how faster my brain works. But this person was so rude and unprofessional.
First of all, he did not read my resume. Secondly, he did not ask appropriate questions about my Data Science background. Thirdly - the worst part is, he not even listened to at least one of my answer with attention.
While I was answering, he was watching his computer monitor and scrolling whatsapp messages on phone. Imagine an interviewer doing this in an interview. How badly would the person get discouraged? He may be a well qualified professional with good technical know-hows. But he does not have a basic human courtesy, professional outlook and more importantly the 'class'. I am surprised that he is CTO for that company who did not even a ask a single technical question from Data Science for which I prepared for months.
Was it fine after this round? After this round, I was told that another interviewer is absent on that day, and that next round of interview would be next week. For that 1 single round and 10 minutes monologue, they asked me to travel 30 km. Such an unprofessional and worst experience with a company, that too interviewed by a discourteous and a disrespectful person, supposed to be called as a CTO for their company.
