I was genuinely excited to apply for the Account Manager role at Nielsen-Massey Vanillas. With over 15 years of experience working directly with Costco Buyers and managing vendor relationships, I felt I was a strong fit for the position.
After receiving an email from HR expressing interest and asking to schedule an interview, I promptly replied with multiple available time slots. I followed up several times via email and even reached out to the hiring manager and head of HR on LinkedIn—but I never received a confirmed time or any further communication.
While I understand priorities may shift internally, the lack of follow-through and communication was disappointing. For a company with such a strong brand reputation, I expected a more respectful and transparent candidate experience.
