Interview
Got an email from the General Nordson hiring manager and asked for my times to call, the person just asked me to pitch myself, told me about the company and what they do, what I would be doing for the internship, went over my resume a little, and the person asked if my projects where in class or a out of class project and asked one quikc question about tech stack, then she just asked for final questions, took about ~15 minutes. Then she told me I'd meet with the hiring manager for the location, and I gave her my times again through email and set up a call for the next day. It was a super simple questions it was just a SUPER simple pesudo code question in a txt file , just like a "make sure this guy isnt a complete idiot", then told me about the company and asked me for final questions ~30 minutes mainly on the coding question.
Team member did a Brief overview of role, asked about my resume and then went onto technical questions. The questions were theory based to see my approach certain problems, not hard
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Nordson in Dec 2018
Interview
The interview was very short. The people who interviewed me were laid back and the environment was not hostile at all. The interview was simply a conversation. I didn't feel nervous and could answer all of the questions. The interview itself lasted around fifteen minutes and the rest of the time was a taking a tour of the facility. I was interviewed by two engineering managers and another engineer.
