I can't say the recruiter who interviewed me was good at her job. She didn't show up to our first call and accidently forgot to tell me she was out that day. I did eventually get on zoom with her but again she never responded after that. I thought the whole experience with OJ was lazy work, as a recruiter it is part of your job to follow up and communicate even if i'm not the right fit. I hope that the girl who interviewed me learns that professionalism is important both ways in the process.

Question 1
What you're looking for in your next role
What would motivate you in a role like this
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver James (New York, NY)
Interview
The interviewers were very nice, and they helped to prepare me prior to the call. It did seem like a lot of steps throughout the process, lots of calls and prep from many different people within the company which seemed like a bit of overkill sometimes and some repeating info from different people. Some of the questions I asked in my 2nd interview about the company weren't fully answered or avoided which raised a few red flags in my mind, but could have been nothing. It did seem like the employees really enjoyed their jobs, and were passionate about what they do which was encouraging.

Question 1
How do you deal with failure, when was a time you were rejected and how did you stay motivated and push through?
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver James (Charlotte, NC) in Sep 2025
Interview
Series of teams calls one on one. Asked me pretty standard questions, had about three or four before they informed me that they hired someone else. Seemed more of a sales type role.
