I applied through college or university. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Ontario Power Generation (Whitby, ON) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied online, and phone interview, followed by an in-person one in their office. Set up an interview for later that week. Met a hiring manager and HR for 1 hour. They were friendly and the interview felt like a natural conversation. One month later I had an offer after finished my security clearance.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ontario Power Generation (Pickering, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
One phone interview with hiring manager. No screening interview. One hour long. Personality based interview but I’ve heard other groups having technical interviews for similar type of roles. This group was hiring a student with a programming background for the 2nd time, but they may shift into technical in the future.

Interview
Interviewed with the manager for that section as well as the person I'd be replacing. It turned for the worse when they started telling me the job description. The job was actually nothing related to Software Engineering at all and was completely spreadsheet work which was both a joke, as well as an insult to myself. Any co-ops related to Computer Science should be avoided as they are trying to get a computer science student to do an accounting job (which involves no programming). I'm quite glad I didn't get the offer because of how boring the job would have been.
