Through a series of email correspondences, the Intern Coordinator and I were able to set up an interview within the next two weeks. They asked to pitch 3 story ideas for different sections of the magazine (the sections were specified prior) so we mainly discussed those, and talked about my interests in journalism, my availability, and other general questions.

Interview
Interviewed directly with the Editor in Chief as well as the Intern coordinator. Friendly interview, felt more like a conversation, less like I was being grilled. Interview reflexted the energy of the office. Overall it was great.
