      Technical Specialist Interview

      May 8, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Mumbai
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PM AM (Mumbai) in Apr 2016

      Interview

Please read this before you reach their office in Mumbai. About my interview procedure : Two three rounds of telephonic interview, very casual and just to know about the background and salary expectations. Then I was called for a telephonic interview in Mumbai with somebody in Dallas. And the rest is history. I have had the worst experience with this company, regarding the interview. I was serving notice period in my company and was holding an offer already. These guys contacted me and from the conversation, I understood that mine was the exact profile they were looking out for. Two to three casual telephonic discussions I had, and later I received a call from Senior HR, where he asked me to promise him that I'd come down to Mumbai on a scheduled weekday. I would come prepared and what not. In return he promised to pay me on lines with my expectations which was better than what I had in hand. They called me twice or thrice to ascertain I would be there or not, this interview was going to be with a person at very high level in US. They promised me to sum up all the rounds on that single day itself. A friday was scheduled and I had to be there at 6:30 pm for 8:30 pm's interview. I took a leave in notice period from office and reached there. Gave the interview. I was told to code on a shared screen and I managed to do that. The interview lasted for 50 mins. The HR in India told that he's very positive about the interview and won't be able to tell the result that day, and would call me on Monday. I had just one week left of my then job and had to join at the earliest. These guys kept lying always. I called them and told them to tell me even if the result is negative because I had so many other things to take care of and these people just kept assuring me to wait for the feedback from the US guy. A feedback which was never supposed to come. It is very easy to say "Sorry, you could not make it this time" or more politely by saying "Sorry, we were expecting something else" or whatever. But the way they lie is incredulous. They keep on lying on phone. Think a 1000 times before you're called in for such an interview. I wasted approx 3000 bucks in that visit to Mumbai, and my precious time, energy and hopes. Worst recruitment system. I saw more than 50% of people here have given negative feedback. Do think before going there for any interview.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Mumbai
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PM AM (Mumbai) in Nov 2015

      Interview

There was no direct posting of job opening & relevant description on any job portal sites. Company seems to recruit only via agencies. First interview was technical by Project manager & followed by HR manager. Next week, had telephonic interview with India head or Technology CTO. Though next day they confirmed that they are almost through in selection process, there would be a last round, which will be taken by a Client from USA. Then days passed, some USA holidays passed & I am still waiting for that non-existent call.
