PTTEP interview questions

1. Application screening – Submit resume, transcript, and sometimes cover letter. 2. Online test – Aptitude test with math, logic, and English sections. 3. Interviews (1–2 rounds) • HR round: behavioural questions (teamwork, motivation, values). • Technical round: project discussion, problem-solving, and engineering questions. 4. Offer & medical check – For those selected, especially for field/offshore roles.

In the first round, I met with the HR representative, who asked general questions about my education, work experience, and motivation for applying. The conversation was easygoing, and the questions were mostly about my career journey, strengths, and what I was looking for in my next role. The second round was with the hiring manager. This round was more detailed but still comfortable. The discussion centered on my previous projects, the tools I had used, and how I approached problem-solving in real situations. Instead of technical tests or case studies, the manager was more interested in my thought process, communication style, and how I collaborated with teams. Overall, the process was simple and friendly. It gave me the opportunity to share my experience openly and to understand more about the company’s expectations. With only two rounds, the flow was efficient and allowed both sides to evaluate fit without being overly complex.
