I applied online. I interviewed at Pacific Life in Sep 2023
Interview
The first round was impersonal. Questions were listed and you recorded your response on video. They were not first round questions but more STAR based. Just felt awkward and impersonal.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pacific Life (Newport Beach, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who initiated the screening and scheduling of the interviews. I met with the hiring manager and a potential peer in two 30 minute interviews, followed by two more interviews with senior leadership a few days later. The process took about a week start to finish.
Each of the interviewers had clearly seen and read through my resume and asked me questions about my experience to back up my resume and work history.
The overall process was great and the recruiter was helpful during the entire process. Ultimately I did not accept the offer due to a competing offer. Pacific Life hires many positions on a contract to hire basis.
