it was good, this was a few years ago, i wanted the experience, like most internships it was unpaid with some what long hours and running errands

Interview
I sent a cover letter and resume via email. It was witty, so the managing editor got back to me right away about hiring summer interns. It was only one interview, and it was easy but she asked a lot of questions. She was super friendly and developed a great rapport with me as an interviewee.
