Phone Interview with a Director, in-person with Director panel, and final round with executives. A week between initial contact from recruiter and each interview. The whole process seemed a bit disorganized and was not outlined at all by the recruiter.
Pattern consistently mentions it can't hire enough people to fill its positions as it grows and find the right talent. The job market is getting tighter every day yet they maintain unrealistic standards for hiring. My interviewers cared little about getting to know my personality and what I had accomplished over the past year at my job. They wanted to dig up every single mistake and weakness I had for every position on my resume. The interviews were demoralizing and took longer than an hour.
Pattern is not great at hiring employees. They fail to recognize talent and potential and would rather focus on your college GPA and how perfect you are. They don't care if you have relevant experience to their business model. My interviewers were dismissive of my concerns and questions. They maintained complete control of the conversation and did not let me sell my personal value by offering my ecommerce expertise.
