Peek seems like very fun company to work for considering it’s in the travel tech realm! Had a pretty nice conversation with the Sr. People Operations Coordinator. They did, however, state at the end of the interview that there are other candidates that are in the last rounds of their interview process. I knew I wouldn’t move ahead because of that. Even though I don’t really appreciate my time being wasted if they knew there were multiple candidates already in the final rounds, the interview itself was very conversational, approachable, and laid back. The base salary and commission structure also seemed incredibly below industry standard. I would’ve taken a pretty big pay cut compared to my previous SDR role if I had gotten an offer.

Long, tedious, a bit ridiculous.. I felt blindsided because the job posting was not transparent in my opinion. I was very interested in this company and felt like this was a company I could be passionate about. The BDR position is essentially cold calling and nowhere in the posting did it have anything about this, if it did, I would not have applied. Had 2 interviews, both interviewers were late. Mostly casual conversation, no real grilling from the interviewers. I got asked to do a 3rd interview but after some thought, I realized I didn't want to waste more of my time for a job I had doubts about.
