It's primarily AI-driven. An email appearing to come from the recruiter was sent out inviting me to select a time for a phone interview. Confirmation of date and time was autogenerated. No actually human interaction through email. During the phone screen, the recruiter seemed rushed and reading from a script. Was told I was a great candidate to move forward. 4 days later, I received another auto-generated email that they are moving forward with other candidates. I have accepted that AI is the way of the future, but when interviewing, candidates want a more personal feel during the recruitment process.
I read the reviews of the company and while they are significantly low, I chose to pursue the opportunity. Recruiters should also realize that candidates are getting a feel for a company fit and for those who read the reviews, it's their chance to prove those reviews wrong.
