Question 1
Wo sehe ich mich? Welche Gehaltsvorstellung habe ich?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Perspective Software in Oct 2024
Interview
Initial HR call is very informative and well structured, they tell a lot about the company, current projects and team.
HR is friendly, responds fast and helps if you need to reschedule meetings.
Next interview is so called "Value based exchange" with COO. This part is a bit weird, first you have to watch a video where COO explains company values and principles and then on the meeting you discuss them. There are no certain criteria on how they assess you. My guess COO just needs to like you and you should tell about your experience in a very enthusiastic way and sell yourself. This is a small company and I guess they value personal qualities more than skills (that is why this interview goes before any tech assessment).

Question 1
If all jobs paid the same, which one would you choose?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Perspective Software (Berlin) in Jul 2024
Interview
This was a weird & frustrating interview experience. The meeting which is called "Value based exchange" is totally pointless. As an experienced software engineer(I have 7+ years of engineering experience and had lots of interviews with different companies and I am also hiring developers myself)) this was the weirdest interview process I have ever seen. Even though I was very prepared and answered the questions in a clear & logical way I got an automated rejection email without concrete feedback. They ask candidates to be transparent but they are not transparent at all. I am lucky that I haven't joined this company. Good luck with this "micromanagement" attitude.
