Interview
The initial stage consisted of a brief, structured recruiter screening conducted using a standardized set of questions. The discussion focused primarily on logistics (location, notice period, compensation expectations, and work authorization) as well as general motivation for the role. The screening was uniform across candidates and followed a scripted format, with limited opportunity for deeper discussion of experience, leadership approach, or role-specific responsibilities.
The interaction functioned primarily as an eligibility and alignment check rather than a substantive evaluative interview. There was limited two-way dialogue or exploration of fit beyond baseline screening criteria.
Following completion of the screening stage, communication regarding next steps may be limited, and candidates should be aware that updates or closure after initial screening are not always provided in a timely or consistent manner, if at all. I was never provided any type of follow-up.
Overall, the early-stage process is highly standardized and transactional in structure, with limited differentiation occurring at the recruiter level and variable transparency regarding progression beyond the initial screening stage.

Interview
Initial interview was rescheduled by talent specialist. Had to follow up 15 mins after my newly scheduled time to see if the interview was still even happening. Felt extremely rushed, not given any time to ask any questions about the role. The talent specialist blew through her list of questions. The call lasted 3 minutes.
It was a phone call interview. I thought it went well, but I wasn't given a follow-up interview. I was asked questions mostly about my educational background and my interest in the Orchestra.
