Planned interview questions

I went through two rounds of interviews before ultimately being rejected due to “a strong pool of candidates.” Throughout the actual interviews, the feedback I received made it seem like I was an excellent fit for the role, which made the outcome feel misleading. They had a difficult time answering emails in a timely manner. The communication felt inconsistent with the final decision, giving the impression that expectations weren’t clearly aligned on their end. The role was advertised in the $65K–$75K salary range.
