Sent initial invitation with address on, arrived at gate for interview in good time.
Waited at the gate while the gentleman tried to contact the person who was conducting the interview to be told the interview location had been changed and I needed to walk to the opposite side of the park.
The interview went well, so well that I didn’t even ask what the salary was for the role.
At the end of the interview the interviewer said ‘I think you’d be a great asset for our business and I would like to invite you to the next stage, which will be next week’. He told me they’d contact me by the following Monday which was one week later.
When I’d not heard anything I decided to call them. After calling the pleasure beach 4 times and not getting acknowledged. I decided to call the recruiter as she had left her number on my voicemail and she said she would call me back.
She called me back a day later to tell me I was unsuccessful as my salary expectations were too high, yet I’d never discussed salary expectations.
Worst recruitment experience I’ve ever had.
