      I interviewed at Popcornopolis

      Interview

I had been to many interviews throughout my career, this is by far one of the most unprofessional interview that I had encountered, actually, pretty much illegal. The CFO,out of all people, started my interview by asking me if I was married, if I have kids, if yes what are their ages 2,4,6 or 10 and to top it off, if I owned or rented my house. I was utterly shocked when these questions came out of his mouth, as they are considered "profiling" and to come from am executive of a company? I'm speechless!!! You can tell a lot about a company just based off of that alone. In addition, the executives (CFO, Owner's wife) were both very arrogant during the interview process and started giggling and making sarcastic remarks to responses that they didn't like or weren't getting out of me. It is apparent that this remains as a small company for a reason and there is definitely a lack of structure. There are bad interviews but this tops it all. With that said, I wouldn't be surprise if they run their business to the ground, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen because it's clear that they don't know what they are doing. It will be very difficult to acquire talent with that attitude. If you decide to go forward with the interview, I would like to wish you the best of luck but don't say I didn't warn you!
